Title: Vermillion Editions Limited: A History and Catalogue, 1977–1992 publication (2006)
Client: Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Minneapolis, MN
Project: Vermillion documents the fifteen-year history of Vermillion Editions Limited, the Minneapolis-based collaborative print workshop founded by master printer Steven Andersen in 1977. The catalogue includes comprehensive essays on the history and cultural context of the studio; a photographic survey of the workshop in operation; color reproductions of all of Vermillion’s editioned prints, multiples, and artist’s books; biographies of the artists who worked at Vermillion; a glossary of printmaking terms; and an extensive bibliography.
