Title: CalArts 25th Anniversary CDRom (1996)
Client: California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA
Project: The CD-ROM set out to show CalArts 25 year history while grounding it firmly in the design context of the present day. The mix of archival material, recent work and video-bites was intended to be energetic and enticing since the audience was primarily a visually literate one. It was designed to be easily accessible, organized and methodical, while still leaving room for user exploration, humor and discovery. The design is content specific rather than offering a universal interface solution. Designed and programmed by Michael Worthington and Deborah Littlejohn.
